A Policy-as-Code Driven DevSecOps Scanner for MCP Tool Poisoning / MCP Servers

What it solves

  • Detects Tool Poisoning attacks in AI systems using Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Flags hidden malicious instructions inside AI tool descriptions that could steal data or trigger unsafe actions.
  • Helps secure AI workflows before harmful tool behavior reaches production.

What I built

  • Static analysis + local LLM detection using Ollama/Mistral for suspicious tool behavior.
  • FastAPI service for scanning local repositories and public GitHub repository URLs.
  • Result structure, detection flow, and integration path for a broader DevSecOps scanner.

From Code to Cloud: My Ubuntu-Inspired Journey

I’m a BSIT student at Air University with hands-on experience in frontend, backend, mobile, cloud, and AI security work. My focus is practical delivery: building usable systems, learning quickly, and contributing to projects that solve real problems.

My current interest sits at the intersection of Full Stack development and AI security / DevSecOps. I’m especially focused on MCP security, secure AI tooling, and how developers can detect risky behavior before it becomes a production issue.

Career Goal: I’m looking for opportunities where I can contribute to software engineering, AI security, or DevSecOps work while continuing to grow through hands-on projects like my current FYP in MCP security.
